In 1974, the title track of Bruce Springsteen’s Born to Run was recorded at 914 Sound Studios in Blauvelt. A stork sign rental in Blauvelt, NY is a smaller kind of hit, but it’s played on the front lawn for the whole street.

This Is Our Hometown
We’ve been announcing babies from River Vale since 1998, and every sign is finished here before it goes out. When you rent a stork in Blauvelt, the sign has barely left our driveway before it’s on yours.

A Few Things We Love About Blauvelt
“Blauvelt” literally means “blue field” in Dutch. Blauvelt State Park began as Camp Bluefields, a rifle range for the National Guard, in 1909. In 1972, researchers from Columbia’s Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory found tracks of the dinosaur coelophysis here, about 200 million years old.
It’s a community with deep roots and a strong sense of home. We think a personalized stork on the front lawn fits right in.
